In 2009, I was shocked to learned that three Pro Domme committed suicide in the Los Angeles area. At the time I was the Executive Director of a national non-profit that taught entrepreneurship skills to youth, and was the former E.D. of a federal empowerment zone. In my year of community service as Southern California Leather Woman 2010 I produced events to advocate and support sex positive entrepreneurs by hosting educational workshops, speaker panels, guest lecturers and social events. My passion for personal growth and sexuality coincided in early childhood when I discovered Japanese fetish bondage while living abroad. The excitement of discovery combined with my sexual awakening made learning about sexuality - my first fetish.
My professional career has included managing a federal economic development programs, and directing an entrepreneurship education nonprofit. Owner of an executive recruiting, career coaching firm for twelve years, and three years as a national youth and business speaker. I am the author of five books on career mapping, online dating and my newest book: “All My Heroes Were Ho’s”.
I am grateful and fortunate to have been raised with a healthy sexuality which prepared me for adult life. At 50, I decided it was time to come out of the kink closet, and I ran for and won the opportunity to serve my kink community as Southern California Leather Woman 2010-11.
